Refunds and returns

Sixty days. Fade it or refund it. You keep the bars either way.

There is nothing to post back. Returning a used bar of soap costs you a trip and costs us more in postage than the bar is worth, and asking for it is mostly a way of making refunds annoying enough that people give up. Email us and we refund you.

1. The guarantee

If you are not satisfied with any delivery, email help@haldah.com within sixty days of that delivery arriving and we will refund it in full, including what you paid for shipping on that order. We do not require photographs, a reason, or proof that you used it.

We ask one optional question: what happened. You are free to ignore it. It is the only way a small brand learns anything, but your refund does not depend on answering.

2. How long it takes

We process refunds within one business day of your email. Your bank then takes its own time, usually five to ten business days, to put the money back on the card. The refund goes to the original payment method and we cannot send it anywhere else.

3. What this covers

  • Any delivery, whether it is your first or your fifth.
  • The full amount charged for that delivery, plus its shipping.
  • Orders that arrived damaged, melted or short. Tell us and we refund or resend, your choice.
  • Orders that never arrived. See the shipping page.

4. What it does not cover

  • Deliveries more than sixty days old. The clock starts the day the parcel arrives.
  • Repeated refunds on consecutive deliveries. If the bar is not working for you we would rather cancel the plan than keep sending and refunding it, and we will say so.

5. If you want to send it back anyway

Some people would rather not keep something they have asked for a refund on. That is fine, but please email us first. We will not process a return that arrives unannounced because we have no way of matching it to an order.

6. Cancelling as well as refunding

A refund does not automatically cancel your plan and cancelling does not automatically refund your last delivery. If you want both, say so in the same email and we will do both. See the subscription terms.
